Hayes MacArthur

Hayes MacArthur (born April 16, 1977 in Chicago ) is an American actor and stand-up comedian .

life and career

Born in Chicago, Hayes MacArthur attended Deerfield Academy . He received a Bachelor of Arts from Bowdoin College , Brunswick . He studied at the Groundlings Theater Company and the Atlantic Theater Company .

MacArthur made his first television appearances as a comedian in 2003 in the Rebels of Comedy Competition . He also appeared on shows such as Mad TV , Pushing Daisies and Premium Blend . In 2005 he was instrumental in the short film The Adventures of Big Handsome Guy and His Little Friend .

MacArthur also made small appearances in Medium - Nothing Hides , Entourage , Suburgatory and Happy Endings . In 2007 and 2009 he appeared for two episodes in How I Met Your Mother . Between 2008 and 2009 he was seen in a total of five episodes of the series Worst Week . A major role was MacArthur from 2010 to 2011 in the series Perfect Couples alongside Mary Elizabeth Ellis , David Walton and Olivia Munn held. However, the series was discontinued by NBC after the first season . From 2012 to 2013 he appeared in a recurring role in Go On .

Private

In December 2007, MacArthur got engaged to Heroes actress Ali Larter . The two married on August 1, 2009. On December 20, 2010, their son was born. Their daughter was born on January 15, 2015.
