The Hegnacher Mühle is a residential area belonging to the Hegnach district of the city of Waiblingen in the Rems-Murr district in Baden-Württemberg .

location

The Hegnacher Mühle is located below the Waiblingen district of Hegnach on the banks of the Rems , a right tributary of the Neckar . The mill is a bit away from the Rems, with which it is connected by a mill canal. It is located in the middle of the Lower Remstal nature reserve .

history

The mill was built by David Reinhardt in 1874. In 1972 the mill was modernized. On January 1, 1975, the residential space was incorporated into the city of Waiblingen together with Hegnach as part of the community reform. The Hegnacher Mühle operates as a grain mill and has housed a farm shop since 1985.

The mill can be reached on a road from Hegnach. The Waiblingen circular bike path leads past the mill. It is located on the Waiblinger Mühlenweg, which leads from the Secret Mühle via the Hahnsche Mühle and the Häckermühle.
