The Zillhardtshof is a hamlet belonging to the Hohenacker district of the city of Waiblingen in the Rems-Murr district in Baden-Württemberg .

location

The Zillhardtshof is about 270  m above sea level. NHN a good half a kilometer northeast of the outskirts of Hohenacker, about 200 meters from the Neckar tributary Zipfelbach , which turns 20 meters below its right curve between the main town of the neighboring municipality of Schwaikheim in the east and the Waiblingen district of Bittenfeld in the northwest. The hamlet has about a dozen house numbers and a few outbuildings and is surrounded by a patch of orchards, beyond which is open arable landscape. The city limits of Waiblingen and Schwaikheim run less than a hundred meters east of the outskirts. In the subsurface is the Lettenkeuper ( Erfurt Formation ), which is partially covered by loess sediment from Quaternary deposits and loess- bearing floating earth ; Holocene runoff masses are closer to the Bachaue . From a natural point of view, Zillhardtshof lies on the edge of the Remstaltraufbucht sub-area to the Inner Backnang Bay sub-area of the Neckar basin .

history

The hamlet was first mentioned in 1350 under the owner's name Zülnhart . At this point in time, the name is proven in Hohenacker, a relationship to the von Zülnhart family has not been clarified. In 1580 the farm belonged to the Adelberg Monastery . In the description of the Oberamt Waiblingen from 1850, the farm is listed as a hamlet consisting of 7 families . On January 1, 1975, the hamlet was incorporated into the town of Waiblingen together with Hohenacker as part of the community reform.

traffic

The hamlet passes a little downhill on the valley slope on the L 1140 between Schwaikheim and Remseck am Neckar , which connects it to the road network. The old church path leads southwest and up the slope to the northern tip of Hohenacker. The Waiblingen cycle path runs through the Zillhardtshof.
