Heidi Eisterlehner (born October 25, 1949 in Magdeburg ) is a former German tennis player .
Live and act
Heidi Eisterlehner spent her childhood in the GDR . The family later moved to the FRG and lived first near Amberg and later in Nuremberg . Eisterlehner studied social education .
She got her start in sport at the age of 12 at 1. FC Nürnberg under Jan Foldina. Her unparalleled professional career began ten years later. After a 7-year break with the senior women, she is again an active player at TEC Waldau Stuttgart . From 2007 to 2011 Heidi Eisterlehner worked in the tennis department of VfL Pfullingen in the youth work.
Heidi Eisterlehner lives in Sonnenbühl- Genkingen near Reutlingen .
Sporting successes
She reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January 1976 and was a member of the German Fed Cup team from 1976 to 1978 . Heidi Eisterlehner won around 20 national and international German championships (singles, doubles, mixed and team) among the active players. In 1977 and 1980/81 she was German champion in singles indoors, doubles a. a. 1976 with Helga Masthoff , 1978 and 1979 with Sylvia Hanika and 1980/81 with Eva Pfaff .
She was also very successful with the seniors and won the following titles, among others:
