The house at Heiligegeiststraße 25 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located south of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the south side of Heiligegeiststraße. It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. The house at Heiligegeiststrasse 24 , which is also a listed building, is adjacent to the east and Heiligegeiststrasse 26 to the west.

Architecture and history

The two-story half - timbered house was built according to a building inscription in 1678. It is very small in relation to the surrounding buildings. Its width is just five containers . It is covered with a gable roof . The half-timbered facade is decorated with carved beam heads , profiled lugs and ship throats . Despite multiple renovations, its urban impact is assessed as authentic.

A shop has been added on the ground floor, which has housed a salon for Thai massages since December 2012 (as of 2013). The rest of the historical street lighting is located on the upper floor.
