Location of Heinersdorf in Brandenburg

Heinersdorf and Behlendorf are part of the Steinhöfel community in the Oder-Spree district in Brandenburg . Both towns are located about 40 kilometers east of Berlin near the B5 on 80 hectares large Heinersdorfer lake . A road embankment runs through the southern part of the lake.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1244 as Henrykestorp . In 1348 the False Woldemar was recognized as Margrave Woldemar by the Archbishop of Magdeburg Otto on the Feldmark of Heinersdorf . During this time, the stone church was also built. Century was extended by a west tower . In 1752 there was a fire in the village that destroyed almost half of all buildings.

On December 31, 2001, Heinersdorf was incorporated into Steinhöfel with Behlendorf.
