Heinersreuth is a Franconian village that belongs to the Presseck market .

geography

The village in the south-west of the Franconian Forest is one of 49 officially named parts of the municipality of the Presseck market in the north-eastern part of Upper Franconia . That at a height of 614  m above sea level. Heinersreuth, located on the NHN , is about three kilometers from Presseck to the south-west.

history

Up until the beginning of the 19th century, Heinersreuth was under the sovereignty of the von Wildenstein noble family, which was directly part of the empire . As part of the municipal regional reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, the entire community of Heinersreuth was incorporated into the Presseck market at the beginning of 1978. In 1987 Heinersreuth had 144 inhabitants.
