Heinrich Elsner (politician)

Heinrich Elsner (born July 18, 1867 in Niedersteine , Neurode district , province of Silesia , † February 15, 1960 in Bad Bevensen ) was a German politician ( center ). He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives at the time of the Empire and the Prussian Landtag in the Weimar Republic .

Life

Elsner attended the Catholic elementary school , later the preparatory institute in Landeck and the teachers' college in Habelschwerdt . He then worked as a teacher in Kieslingswalde , Hausdorf and Volpersdorf , where he owned his own farm.

On November 23, 1916, Elsner was elected to the Prussian House of Representatives in a by-election for the Neurode - Glatz - Habelschwerdt district, of which he was a member until November 15, 1918. In January 1919 he was elected to the constituent Prussian state assembly for constituency 9 (Breslau) and in February 1921 to the Prussian state parliament for constituency 7 (Breslau). He was a member of the state parliament until 1928.

Elsner was also a member of the Catholic church council in Volpersdorf , fire chief of the volunteer fire brigade , a member of the supervisory board of the Provincial Cooperative Fund for Silesia and a board member of the local agricultural and beekeeping association.

On March 26, 1946 Elsner was from Volpersdorf sold and came first to Natbergen in Osnabrück . He died in Bad Bevensen in 1960.
