Heinrich von Danckelmann
Heinrich Wilhelm August Alexander Graf von Danckelmann (born May 10, 1768 in Kleve ; † December 29, 1830 ; also "Dankelmann") was a Prussian civil servant and minister.
Life
He was the son of State Minister Adolph Freiherr von Danckelmann . In 1792 Danckelman was appointed to the upper government, consistorial and pupil council in Breslau . In 1798 his father received the title of count, which was transferred to him. From 1800 he was president of the Upper Silesian government (ie function of a "Silesian Minister of Justice") and of the upper consistory in Brieg . From 1805 on, Danckelman was president of the South Prussian government in Warsaw . The Elbingen Convention was concluded by him on November 10, 1807 . He later became President of the Upper Official Government in Glogau . Between 1825 and 1830 he was Prussian Minister of Justice and from 1828 a member of the State Council .
