Heinz Pflügge (born November 15, 1946 ) is a former German football player . As a player from MSV Duisburg, Pflügge played four league games in the Bundesliga between 1966 and 1968 . In the second -rate regional football league West , he played 18 league games (1 goal) at VfR Neuss from 1968 to 1970.

Career

The striker and defender Pflügge played for TuRU Düsseldorf in his youth before he moved to the Bundesliga club Meidericher SV in 1965 at the age of 18 . At the club from Duisburg , for which national striker Werner Krämer was on the field, he first played in the amateur team. For the 1966/67 season, MSV signed three players, Willibert Kremer , Djordje Pavlic and substitute goalkeeper Bernd Becker, and also took over from the amateur team, Heinz Pflügge, in the licensed squad. Under coach Hermann Eppenhoff he made his debut on the second round matchday, August 27, 1966, in a 1: 3 away defeat against 1. FC Nuremberg in the Bundesliga. He formed the defense of the "zebras" in front of goalkeeper Manfred Manglitz with Johann Sabath , Michael Bella , Manfred Müller and Heinz van Haaren . He then had to wait for further missions at the Bundesliga club, which had meanwhile been renamed MSV Duisburg, before he was considered for two more games at the end of the 1966/67 season. On the 33rd and 34th matchday he was active in the games against Karlsruher SC (0: 3) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (1: 3). Against the “foals” from Bökelberg, he formed the host's attack on the left wing together with Horst Gecks , Werner Lotz , Werner Krämer and Heinz van Haaren on the last day of the season .

Even under Eppenhoff's successor Gyula Lóránt , he did not make a breakthrough. In October 1967, he played his last of four Bundesliga games against VfB Stuttgart in which he was without a goal. Before the round with Krämer and Carl-Heinz Rühl, the MSV had lost two top performers, but in return they had plenty of newcomers to Wedau with Dietmar Linders , Kurt Rettkowski , Bernd Lehmann , Rainer Budde , Erwin Kostedde , Bernd Hoffmann , Jürgen Kowalski and Horst Wild fetched. This reduced the chances of using plows to a minimum.

Pflügge's time in Meiderich ended during the summer break in 1968 when he moved from MSV to VfR Neuss . With this he entered for the following two years until 1970 in the then second -rate regional football league West . For the green-whites from the stadium on Hammer Landstrasse, he completed 18 regional league games (1 goal) under coach Manfred Krafft and alongside teammates such as goalkeeper Klaus Schonz , goal scorer Ulrich Kohn , Josef Kokesch , Robert Begerau and Hans-Jürgen Kleinholz . He suffered a serious injury on March 2, 1969 in a 2-1 away win against Fortuna Köln - he was replaced in the 7th minute - and tried to return again on October 5, 1969 in the away game against Arminia Bielefeld. He came on as a substitute in the 33rd minute, but had to leave the field in the 61st minute because the old injury had broken up again and the end of his football career could not be stopped.
