Martha Wiedemann lives under one roof with her divorced daughter Gisela and her granddaughter Hannelore. Your granddaughter has fallen in love with Mr. Splettstößer, whom she affectionately nicknamed "Spletti". At first, however, she decidedly only introducing her love to her grandmother Martha, because her mother is much less interested in her than in her job in the forestry business. Grandma Martha also fell in love with the caretaker Kurt Wollenschläger. Because she thinks he was behind an advertisement in the newspaper, Grandma Martha replied spontaneously. But when her daughter's work colleague, Martin Bechstein, hides behind it, Gisela also has a love life in addition to her professional life.
