Helge Sidow (* 1976 in Pforzheim ) is a German speaker , actor and journalist. He lives in Leonberg .

Life

From 1991 to 1995 the actress taught him Heidrun Müller-Graf in speech and breathing techniques -. At the same time, he made his voice available for commercials on the radio station Welle Fidelitas . In 1992 he was cast in the Sandkorn Theater in Karlsruhe for the role of Alan Silverman in the play " Geheime Freunde " ( Rudolf Herfurthner ) and subsequently used for numerous other roles. Among other things as Paul in "What does love mean here". In 1994 he left the Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium ( Königsbach ) prematurely at his own request and became a permanent member of the Sandkorn-Theater ensemble. In addition to his engagement as an actor, he also regularly took on tasks as an assistant director. From 1996 to 2000 he also held the position of personal assistant to the artistic director . From 1997 to 2002 he took on various small guest roles in the SWR series Die Fallers and Tatort .

Since 2003 he has been working as a freelance speaker in the areas of voiceover , advertising and occasionally as a voice actor . His voice first became known in German-speaking countries through infomercials . In addition to the main voice, Sidow also took on the translation of the dialogue book from the American original into German in numerous productions .

He has been a member of the SWR spokesperson team since 2008 . In addition to regular assignments for various broadcast formats such as Landesschau (SWR), SWR aktuell , Weltspiegel ( ARD ) and Europamagazin (SWR), he also speaks news on radio for SWR4 Baden-Württemberg .

Since he speaks fluent English in addition to German, Sidow's voice is regularly used in international productions for industry and trade. Sidow has been the German and English voice of Märklin -TV, a regular online magazine from the toy manufacturer Märklin , since 2010 .

Helge Sidow is a member of the Association of German Speakers.
