Life

Trute was born into a family of pastors with many children . From April 29, 1919 to March 25, 1925 he attended the Schulpforta grammar school . After graduating from high school, he enrolled for the SS 1925 in law at the Université de Lausanne and switched to the Albertus University in Königsberg for the following winter semester , where he was active in the Corps Masovia . In 1932 he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD . After the assessor examination, he worked as a lawyer at the Court of Appeal from 1932 to 1972 . During the Second World War he was employed as a judge-martial in northern Russia and was thus assigned to military jurisdiction (National Socialism) at division level . He came to AEG in the post-war period in Germany and operated association policy for the electrical engineering industry in Ratingen and Frankfurt am Main . Since 1950 managing director, he became executive member of the presidency of the Central Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry (ZVEI). In the association's series of publications, he published a commentary on the delivery conditions developed by the ZVEI , which had four editions and was last published in 1980. After retiring in 1972, he lived in Breitbrunn am Chiemsee . Badly hit by the cancer death of his second, much younger wife (the nanny of his first marriage to Edita Trute ), he moved to live with his daughter and son in Friesland, where he spent the last ten months of his life. To the funeral service in Zetel came Andreas Wagner and Rüdiger Döhler , which for the Corps the grave speech held.

Honors

Trute was a co-founder of the Evangelical State School at the Gate in Meinerzhagen and executive director of the Melanchthon Foundation for the promotion of talented students. He was a member of the board of directors of the Deutsches Museum . For a long time he was a member of the executive committee of the Federation of German Industries , on whose finance committee he sat. He was involved in church councils and in local politics in Offenbach am Main . The Federal President honored his service to the common good with the Great Federal Cross of Merit in 1972 . The ZVEI made him an honorary member in 1973. In the post-war period he participated in the reconstruction of his corps. He was the chairman of the old man's senior citizens' convention in Chiemgau and in 1997 was one of the twelve Masurians who reconstituted Masovia in Kiel.
