Henning Molfenter (2015)

Henning Molfenter (* 1967 ) is a German film producer and managing director of Studio Babelsberg Motion Pictures GmbH and Babelsberg Film GmbH. He works mainly as a film financer on behalf of American film producers.

Life

Henning Molfenter started his work in the Babelsberg film studio in 2001 as executive producer of Roman Polański's award-winning film The Pianist .

Before his appointment to Babelsberg, Henning Molfenter worked 10 years in the USA, including on the successful Hollywood productions Der Mondmann and Larry Flynt - The Naked Truth by Milos Forman.

Henning Molfenter is a graduate (Master of Fine Arts) from Columbia University, New York.
