Henriette Thimig

Henriette Thimig (* 1947 ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Henriette Thimig was born as the daughter of the actor Hans Thimig (1900–1991) and Helene Rauch.

After training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna , she had her first engagement at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus from 1975 to 1981 . In the following years she was engaged at the Hamburg Thalia Theater , the Munich Residenztheater , the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt , the Berlin Schillertheater and the Staatstheater Stuttgart . From 1995 to 2000 she was a member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , where she could be seen in The Taming of the Shrew , Happy Days and Macbeth, among others. In 2001 she played in Haarmannat the Staatstheater Hannover and from 2005 to 2009, for example, in Nathan der Weise and Liliom at the Grillo-Theater in Essen .

From 2011 she was again at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and the Schauspielhaus Bochum, for example in As You Like It , Uncle Wanja or Little Man, what now? . In the 2017/18 season she can be seen in an interlaced production of Iphigenie in Aulis with Stefano Massini's contemporary drama Occident Express at the Vienna Volkstheater , directed by Anna Badora .

In the television series Reluctant Father she played the role of Clara Rehder, in the three parts of Die Musterknaben (1997-2003) she played Docker's mother.
