Henrik Djernis

Henrik Djernis (born April 22, 1968 in Svebölle , Sjelland ) is a former Danish cyclist and world champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Djernis began his career as a road driver. Later he turned to the cross-country sport and specialized in cross-country races , in which he achieved his most significant successes. In 1993 he won the world title among amateurs in this discipline ahead of the German Ralph Berner ; In 1991 he became vice world champion and in 1998 he won the bronze medal among professional drivers . From 1985 to 2001 he won the Danish championship title in cyclo-cross racing, before he had won the title three times as a junior and once as a youth.

Professional

He is co-owner of a bicycle shop in Kalundborg .
