Henryk Józef Nowacki
Henryk Józef Nowacki (born August 11, 1946 in Gunzenhausen ) is a Polish clergyman, emeritus Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Henryk Jozef Nowacki received on May 31, 1970, through the Bishop of Tarnów, Jerzy Karol Ablewicz , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
February 8, 2001 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Titular Archbishop of Blera and apostolic nuncio in Slovakia . The episcopal ordination received his John Paul II personally on March 19 of that year. Co- consecrators were the Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops , Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re , and Cardinal Secretary of State Angelo Sodano . Henryk Józef Nowacki became Apostolic Nuncio in Nicaragua on November 28, 2007 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 28, 2012 as Apostolic Nuncio in Sweden and Iceland . On October 6, 2012, Henryk Józef Nowacki was also appointed Apostolic Nuncio in Denmark , Finland and Norway .
He retired in February 2017.
