Herbert Fischer (politician)
Herbert Fischer (born June 6, 1940 in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz ; † May 29, 2019 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).
education and profession
Herbert Fischer studied in Munich law and worked temporarily in the CSU federal constituency office in Nuremberg . From 1970 to 1990 he worked as a lawyer for an insurance company in Nuremberg.
He was a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Tuiskonia Munich in the CV .
Political party
Herbert Fischer had been a CSU member since 1960. From 1968 to 1972 he was district chairman of the Junge Union Neumarkt, from 1981 to 1998 chairman of the CSU city association, from 1981 he was deputy CSU district chairman.
MP
From 1990 to 2008, Fischer was a member of the CSU in the Bavarian state parliament . From 2003 to 2008 he was a member of the State Parliament's Committee on State Budget and Financial Matters. He was no longer available for election to the state parliament in Bavaria in 2008 .
Public offices
From 1972 to 2014 he was city councilor in Neumarkt, from 1978 to 1990 chairman of the CSU parliamentary group and from 1972 to 1978 advisor for the town twinning with Issoire . From 1984 to 2014 he was the speaker for the Spring Festival and the Jura Folk Festival .
Fischer was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bavarian State Foundation , spokesman for the Upper Palatinate MPs, member of the Bavarian State Health Council and Prison Advisory Board of the Regensburg prison .
