Hereroland historically referred to the settlement area of ​​the Herero in Namibia from the time of German South West Africa . Traditionally, this is the area on the Waterberg , which currently (as of March 2020) roughly corresponds to the constituency of Tsumkwe

Hereroland was also the name of the homeland of the Herero from 1968 during the administration of South Africa under the Odendaal Plan . The capital was Okakarara . The Hereroland was 58,997 km² and had (as of 1960) 35,354 inhabitants.
