Herman Gehrig

Herman Gehrig , also Hermann Gehrig (* 1904 in Gelsenkirchen , † 1967 in Essen ) was a German architect , urban planner and municipal building officer .

Life

After the Second World War , Gehrig worked as a city planner in Detmold and was a member of the local Catholic parish , for which he and Josef Lucas revised his plans for the Heilig Kreuz parish church in 1950 . Later he was city ​​building officer in Essen and designed several secular buildings there . He was also active in church building, mainly in the Archdiocese of Paderborn .
