Hermann Hepp (born November 30, 1859 in Seelbach ; † March 13, 1919 ibid) was a German farmer, politician and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hermann Hepp was born on November 30, 1859 in Seelbach in what would later become the Oberlahnkreis (now the Limburg-Weilburg district ). He attended the local elementary school from the age of 6 to 14 and later the agricultural winter school in Weilburg from 1876 to 1878. He learned agriculture in his father's business and took it over independently in 1888. From 1879 to 1882 he served with the Lauenburg Jäger Battalion No. 9 and became a reserve officer . In 1892 he became mayor of Seelbach. He became a member of the district committee and the district council of the Oberlahnkreis, head of two agricultural cooperatives and deputy association director of the Association of Nassau agricultural cooperatives in Wiesbaden and a member of the Chamber of Agriculture .

His son Karl Hepp was born on February 10, 1889 and later succeeded him not only in the management of the agricultural farm and as an agricultural functionary in numerous associations, but also as a member of the German Reichstag and finally in the German Bundestag .

Hermann Hepp was for the 4th constituency ( Upper and Lower Lahn district : Limburg , Diez , Runkel , Weilburg , Hadamar ) in the Wiesbaden administrative district in the 13th electoral period (1912) a member of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party (NLP).
