Hermann Kächele

Hermann Kächele (born May 24, 1890 in Karlsruhe , † August 13, 1914 in Brückensweiler ) was a German football player .

Career

Kächele belonged to the Karlsruhe FV , for which he played point games in the championships held by the Association of Southern German Football Associations in the southern district from 1908 to 1914 .

While he was a member of the club, he won six regional championships and the German championship once with the team, but without having been used in the final round in 1910.

It was not until May 12, 1912, in the 8-1 victory in the quarter-finals over the Cölner BC 01 in Munich-Gladbach , that he played his first final round of the German championship. A week later he played in Frankfurt am Main against SpVgg 1899 Leipzig , which was defeated 3-1. He played his last final game on May 26, 1912 in the Hamburg final against the finalist, who had been defeated 1-0 in 1910; but this time Holstein Kiel won 1-0 with the penalty that Ernst Möller converted in the 52nd minute .
