Hildegard Bleyler (born November 12, 1899 in Altkirch / Alsace ; † February 6, 1984 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

Bleyler, who was of the Roman Catholic faith, studied law and political science in Munich , Freiburg , Cologne and Berlin after graduating from high school . In 1923 she received her doctorate. rer. pole. After a brief job for the Augsburger Post newspaper , she went to the Baden Statistical Office in Karlsruhe as a statistician in 1925 . In 1926/27 she worked for the Association of female assistants and civil servants in Munich . She then worked as a lecturer in economics and social policy in Bytom until 1933 . This was followed by a further lecturing activity at the social women's school in Freiburg until 1938. She then worked in the employment offices in Kempten , Neu-Ulm and Reichenberg until the end of the war .

Even after the Second World War, Bleyler remained in the labor administration and became a career advisor at the Baden State Employment Office, later in the same office as a career counseling officer, then a women's officer and finally head of the employment agency department at the Freiburg employment office .

Political party

Before 1933, Hildegard Bleyler had belonged to the ZENTRUM . From 1945 she participated in the development of the CDU. She became chairwoman of the regional women's advisory board of the Baden CDU and a member of the regional executive committee.

MPs

Hildegard Bleyler was one of the representatives of Baden in the first Federal Assembly and was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1965.
