Ernst Elimar Louis Rudolf Hilmar Freiherr Schmidt von Schmidtseck (born March 13, 1863 at Gut Klein Wogenab , Elbing district ; † May 26, 1912 in Königsberg ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Hilmar Schmidt von Schmidtseck was the son of the royal chamberlain and manorial estate owner Rudolf Schmidt von Schmidtseck (* October 10, 1840, † January 24, 1898) on Woplauken , Rastenburg district and Anna born. Countess zu Eulenburg -Prassen (born August 2, 1840). He studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1882 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After completing his studies, he completed his legal clerkship in Frankfurt (Oder) , Danzig and Königsberg. He became a government assessor in Kassel and assistant civil servant on Heligoland . From 1895 to 1912 he was district administrator of the Rastenburg district . He lived on Woplauken.

Schmidt von Schmidtseck was Rittmeister of the reserve in the cuirassier regiment "Graf Wrangel" (East Prussian) No. 3 . From his divorced marriage with Katharina geb. von Westernhagen (born August 8, 1872) had a daughter and a son:
