Hiroshi Kiyotake ( Japanese 清 武 弘 嗣 , Kiyotake Hiroshi ; born November 12, 1989 in Ōita , Ōita Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player . He is an attacking midfielder. His preferred position is that of the playmaker , he can also be used in the right wing position.

Born in fita Prefecture , Kiyotake played for Katiora FC from 2002 to 2003, and from 2004 in Ōita Trinita's U-15 youth team . His debut in professional football was Kiyotake at the age of 17 on August 9, 2008 for Ōita Trinita in the J. League game against Shimizu S-Pulse , when he came on in the 78th minute for Yoshiaki Fujita. Only a few minutes after coming on, Kiyotake made the goal to equalize 2-2 and thus his first goal in professional football. He had made eight appearances at the end of the season, but was only used sporadically. In the next J. League season Kiyotake came on 23 missions and scored three goals. In the said season, Ōita Trinita rose from the J. League. Due to relegation and financial deterioration, he left Trinita and signed a contract with newly promoted Cerezo Osaka in 2010 . In his debut season for Cerezo, Kiyotake scored four goals. On September 14, 2011 in the first leg of the sixteenth finals of the AFC Champions League , Kiyotake scored two goals against the K-League club Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Cerezo won the game 4-3 . In the second leg he played from the start despite an injury. Cerezo lost the game 6-1 and Kiyotake was substituted off during the game.

In the summer break of 2012, Kiyotake moved to 1. FC Nürnberg . He signed a four-year contract until June 30, 2016. On August 25, 2012 (1st matchday), when FCN won 1-0 at Hamburger SV , Kiyotake made his 90-minute debut in the Bundesliga ; on September 15, 2012 (3rd matchday) in a 3-2 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach , he scored his first Bundesliga goal with the winning goal in the 55th minute.

After Nürnberg was relegated to the second division in the 2013/14 season , Kiyotake moved to Hannover 96 in July 2014 . He signed a contract with Lower Saxony that ran until June 30, 2018.

Kiyotake played for Sevilla FC from the 2016/17 season . His contract originally ran until 2020.

After only half a year in Seville, Kiyotake returned to Japan in January 2017 and joined his ex-club Cerezo Osaka .

National team

On August 10, 2011 in a friendly against South Korea , Kiyotake made his debut for the Japanese national soccer team in the Sapporo Dome . Kiyotake came on for Shinji Okazaki in the 36th minute and had one goal each for Shinji Kagawa and Keisuke Honda . In his second international match for Japan against North Korea in the 2014 World Cup qualification , Kiyotake prepared Maya Yoshida's winning goal in stoppage time. Kiyotake made his starting XI debut on November 15 in the second leg against North Korea.

Kiyotake also played in the U23 qualifier for the 2012 Summer Olympics . In 2012 he was in the squad for the Olympic Games and was used in all six games. In the game for third place, the team lost to South Korea 2-0.

At the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, he was only used in the last group game against Colombia . Japan were eliminated after the preliminary round with just one point from three games.
