The Hirtenbach is an almost 3 km long right and northern tributary of the Wetter in the Hessian district of Gießen and in the extreme southeast of the Vorderen Vogelsberg .

The Hirtenbach rises in the Lumda Plateau at an altitude of about 280  m above sea level. NHN in the Buchwald west of the hallway twin soap .
