University radio in Sweden
The university radio stations in Sweden cooperate within the alliance Studentradion i Sverige (SRS), in which among other things editors work together, assignments at festivals and events are coordinated and the prerequisites for profitability are created. The largest among the Swedish university radio stations and the second largest in Europe is Radio AF in Lund , which produces its programs in the "AF-Burg" ( AF-borgen ) , the home of the Akademiska Föreningen . Around 130 students work for the station, whose contributions mainly revolve around student life in the city.
Several well-known Swedish media personalities began their careers at the member stations of the SRS. These include the Swedish comedian duo Anders & Måns and the journalist Karin Hübinette , who both worked at Lund studio 3 . Anja Kontor , presenter of the evening TV magazine Go'kväll , and Anders Holmberg , journalist and SR radio presenter, worked in Uppsala. Also Uje Brandelius , who already as a musician, singer of the band Doktor Kosmos , a journalist at Arbetarbladet , SR and SVT presenter and Press Secretary of the Vänsterpartiet worked, began when Uppsaler college radio.
