Holger Petzold

Holger Petzold (* 1944 in Owschlag ) is a German actor .

Life

Born in Germany, Holger Petzold spent part of his childhood in Brazil. He later trained as an actor in Hamburg and had engagements at numerous German theaters, among others at the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn, at the Berlin Schlosspark Theater or at the Comedy Düsseldorf .

In addition, Petzold was extensively active as a film and television actor from the late 1960s to the late 1990s. The role of Dr. Rens , whom he embodied in the ZDF series Die Schwarzwaldklinik in 1985 and 1986 . Petzold was also regularly cast in various other series, albeit with different characters. So he played in seven episodes of the Police Inspection 1 series , in 15 episodes of The Old and between 1978 and 1997 in 23 episodes of the Derrick series .

As a dubbing actor, he lent his colleague Alan Dinehart his voice in a new dubbing of the film Charlie Chan at the horse race , and in 1991 he appeared in the radio play At Anpfiff Mord by Horst Hensel and Heinrich Peuckmann , produced by Westdeutscher Rundfunk , directed by Klaus Wirbitzky .
