The Holzbach is a 13 km long body of water in the Black Forest high forest . It is indirectly through a short section of the Losheimer Bach , into which it flows at Nunkirchen , a right and western tributary of the Prims .

Hydrology
The brook is a low mountain range and a body of water of the III. Order in the trout region . In the upper reaches, in the Weiskircher Forest, the water is relatively poor in terms of fauna, due to a low pH value . The acidic water quality comes from the quartzite rock typical of the Hunsrück .

In addition to this, the grayling can be found in the lower reaches . Furthermore, the non-native rainbow trout can be found, which has probably been released from breeding stocks in the lakes of the region.

Kneipp spa
In the community of Weiskirchen, the stream feeds several Kneipp facilities, which, in addition to the general recognition as a climatic health resort (climatic health resort), earned the community the name Kneipp spa community.
