Home is an East Timorese place and Suco in the administrative office of Lospalos ( Lautém municipality ).

The place

The village of Home is located in the southeast of the Sucos at an altitude of 293  m . It is an offshoot of the Fuiloro settlement area . Here is the only primary school in sucos. The settlements Reisoru ( Reissoro ) and Larinatcha ( Larinacha ) are in the immediate vicinity of Home .

Home has 1933 inhabitants (2015), of which 992 are men and 941 women. The population density is 48.9 inhabitants / km². There are 328 households in the Suco. Almost 98% of the population name Fataluku as their mother tongue. A minority speaks Tetum Prasa .

Before the 2015 regional reform, Home had an area of ​​37.12 km². Now it is 39.55 km². The Suco is located in the northwest of the administrative office of Lospalos. In the north it borders on the Suco Raça , in the east on Fuiloro , in the south on Souro and Leuro and in the west on the Lautém administrative office with its Sucos Maina II and Baduro . The river Malailada forms the border with Lautém . The east of Sucos is part of the plain of the plateau of Fuiloro ( Planalto de Fuiloro ), in the west are mountains that then slope down to the border river Malailada. In the south of Sucos lies the village of Tchenuloro ( Chenuloro ), in the north the village of Horooto .

In Home are the four Aldeias Larinatcha , Lilapuhu , Reisoru and Tchenuloro .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Amorosio Oliveira was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Ambrozio Fernandes de Oliveira won .
