Hoofdklasse (chess) 1973/74
In the Hoofdklasse 1973/74 , the 51st Dutch team championship in chess was played.
Watergraafsmeer and Philidor Leeuwarden fought a duel for the title. Although Watergraafsmeer was defeated in a direct comparison, they prevailed by one team point. The defending champion Charlois only just managed to stay in eighth place; The Bussums Schaakgenootschap and VAS / ASC had to get down .
