Hoofdklasse (chess) 1989/90

In the Hoofdklasse 1989/90 the 67th Dutch team championship in chess was played.

The defending champion Volmac Rotterdam and the Hilversums Schaakgenootschap fought head-to-head for the title, which Rotterdam won. Lohuis / De Variant Breda and Utrecht had moved up from class 1 . Both promoted teams achieved relegation, while the second team from Volmac Rotterdam and Watergraafsmeer had to relegate.

Game dates

The competitions were held on September 16, October 7, November 11, December 9, 1989, January 6, February 3, March 3, April 7 and May 12, 1990.
