The East Timorese Suco Horai-Quic ( Horiauic , Horaikik , Horai Kiik , Horai Ki'ik ) is located in the southwest of the Maubisse administrative office ( municipality of Ainaro ).

Before the 2015 regional reform, Horai-Quic had an area of ​​7.93 km². Now it is 10.40 km². In the west, Horai-Quic borders on the Suco Liurai , in the north on the Suco Maubisse and in the east and southeast on the Suco Aituto . In the southwest is the Hatu-Builico administrative office with the Suco Mulo .

To the west of Horai-Quic is the village of Ca ( Caurema ). To the north of the sources of the Colihuno River , which then flows further east along the northern border of the Sucos, lies the village of Hatussao ( Hatusao ). Cartolo ( Kartolo ) is located near the center of Sucos and Lau-Heli ( Lau-Heli , Lauhili ) is in the northeast corner . There is a bridge over the river here.

The four Aldeias Cartolo , Gourema , Hatussao and Lau-Heli are located in Horai-Quic .

Residents

1704 people (2015) live in the Suco, of which 831 are men and 873 women. The population density is 163.9 inhabitants / km². There are 281 households in the Suco. About 95% of the population name Mambai as their mother tongue. The rest speak Tetum Prasa .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections, Domingos da Conceição Peris ( Oires? ) Was elected Chefe de Suco and confirmed in his office in 2009. In the elections in 2016 won Alcino Pereira de Araújo .
