Horst Bergmann (actually Horst Erich Emese-Bergmann ; born October 11, 1929 in Mannheim ; † October 7, 2013 in Berlin ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Act

Horst Bergmann has been a stage actor since 1950 and has performed at theaters in Dortmund, Gießen, Baden-Baden, Bad Hersfeld (festival) and, since the 1960s, at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen for several decades . He had occupied stage appearances there in 1977 in Loch im Kopp by Wolfgang Deichsel and in 1984 in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream . In 2002 and 2006 he played the role of Poor Neighbor at the Berlin Jedermann Festival .

Between the end of the 1950s and 1990, Horst Bergmann worked in various German television productions and films. He became known to German audiences through the role of his father Camper in the road movie Theo against the rest of the world . There are radio play productions by Südwestfunk with his participation from 1959 and 1960.

Horst Bergmann was awarded the Hersfeld Prize in 1976.
