Hubert Görg

Hubert Görg (born November 12, 1903 in Wegeringhausen ; † March 13, 1991 in Rösrath ) was a German administrative lawyer, landlord, local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school , Görg studied law at the Universities of Marburg and Cologne from 1922 to 1925 . In 1925 he received his doctorate as Dr. jur. and passed the second state examination in law in 1929 . As a trainee lawyer , he worked for the district president in Osnabrück , and from 1930 he was deputy district administrator in the Rhein-Wupper district. He then worked for the government in Düsseldorf. After serving in the war and being a prisoner of war, he worked in the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Federal Ministry of Finance.

From 1953 to 1954 Görg was a professor at the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer and from 1954 a full professor for constitutional, administrative, church and international law at the University of Marburg.

He was married and had two children. His son is the lawyer Klaus Hubert Görg , who works as an insolvency administrator a. a. for the companies Philipp Holzmann and Arcandor .

From 1961 to 1974 Görg was a member of the district council of the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

Public offices

From April 1, 1962 to January 31, 1968 was an honorary district administrator of the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis.

Görg was active in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Others

In 1983 he was awarded the Ring of Honor of the Rheinisch-Bergischen-Kreis.
