Hubertus Wijnandus Jozef Marie Stapel (born December 2, 1954 in Tegelen , Limburg ) is a Dutch actor who became known primarily in his home country, but also in Germany , through cinema and television productions.

Career

After minor roles in the theater, Stapel finally got into film, where he became one of the most famous Dutch cinema stars, especially in the 1980s. Working with director Dick Maas , in whose films he mostly played the leading role, for example in Elevator of Horror , Verfluchtes Amsterdam , Flodder - Eine Familie zum Smutschen and its sequel, was primarily an advantage . The last two films mentioned, in which he played the chubby little crook Johnny Flodder , were also his most famous roles.
