IC 3867 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is an estimated 817 million light years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3864 , IC 3868 , IC 3869 , IC 3871 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on January 27, 1904 .
