IHF European Field Handball Cup 1968

The IHF field handball European Cup in 1969 was a full-registered in 1969, competition in the field handball in the East Westphalian town of Minden , and Krefeld and Bad Oeynhausen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The national champions of Austria , Federal Republic of Germany , Switzerland and the Netherlands , as well as defending champions TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen met each other. The 1968 season served as the basis for qualification. In the second edition of the competition, TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen prevailed again, and Herbert Lübking was also the top scorer. The tournament's games took place from May 24th to 26th, 1969.

Tournament mode

The five participating teams competed in a round-robin tournament , with each team having to compete once against each other team. The team with the most points after these encounters won. In the event of a tie between two or more teams, the better goal difference would have been decisive.
