Arnaldo de Felice

Arnaldo de Felice (* 1965 in Florence ) is an Italian oboist and composer .

Career

Arnaldo de Felice completed his composition studies with Roland Moser at the Music Academy of the City of Basel Switzerland. In 1984 he became principal oboist in the Orchestra Sinfonica " Arturo Toscanini " in Parma . In 1986 he received his diploma at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica GB Martini in Bologna with the highest distinction. With Lothar Koch he completed further studies at the Mozarteum Salzburg . As a solo oboist, he played on projects in the European Community Chamber Orchestra .

De Felice had solo appearances at Carnegie Hall in New York, Tonhalle Zürich , Staatstheater Nürnberg , Teatro Comunale in Modena , Teatro Farnese in Parma, Società dei Concerti di Milano (Sala Verdi), "Ferrara Musica" Teatro Comunale (Ferrara) , Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna , Società dei Concerti di Bolzano, Great Hall of the Academy in Basel, Great Hall of the Academy in Zurich, Stadtcasino Basel , "Festival Mozart" Rovereto , La Biennale di Venezia .

Felice's musical companions include Gérard Wyss , Ingolf Turban , K. Lessing, Kurt Widmer , Conrad Steinmann, Anna Kravchenko , Yves Savary, Wen-Sinn Yang , Patricia Kopatchinskaja , Stefano Canuti , Julien Hervé, Rolando Prusak.

In 2005 the world premiere of his opera Medusa took place at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich (musical direction: Enrique Mazzola; director: Aron Stiehl ).
