The IKK healthy plus , based in Magdeburg, is a German guild health insurance fund that can be selected nationwide for all legally insured persons . As a health insurance company , it is a public corporation and was created on January 1, 2004 through the merger of IKK Sachsen-Anhalt (founded in 1995) and IKK Bremen-Bremerhaven. The IKK health plus has a total of 39 branches in Saxony-Anhalt and in the greater Bremen / Bremerhaven area as well as an internet branch. The board of directors of IKK healthy plus consists of 26 members and is made up of insured and employer representatives. The IKK has a sole director.

IKK healthy plus has more than 400,000 members with health and long-term care insurance with more than 62,000 employers (as of March 2016). In addition to the uniform contribution rate that has been in effect since January 1, 2009 , the fund has been charging an additional contribution of 1.0 percent since 2020.

The customer magazine "IKK-Gesundheitstelegramm" is sent to the customers of IKK health plus every quarter. Here, customers are informed about the topics of health, benefits and service of the IKK health plus. Further information media are the electronic IKK health newsletter, specialist brochures for insured persons and employers. The IKKprofil aktuell newsletter and the IKK Spleens newsletter are also published quarterly for employers and young people.
