The North Rhine guild health insurance fund , or IKK Nordrhein for short , was a German guild health insurance fund based in Bergisch Gladbach .

history

The IKK Nordrhein was established on June 1, 1995 through the union of the North Rhine guild health insurance funds. These were:

• IKK Düren
• IKK Düsseldorf and Neuss
• IKK Duisburg
• IKK food
• IKK Euskirchen
• IKK Kleve and Wesel
• IKK Cologne - Rhein-Sieg district
• IKK Mettmann
• IKK Mülheim ad Ruhr
• IKK Niederrhein
• IKK Oberhausen
• IKK Solingen
• IKK Wuppertal

The basis for this was the Ordinance on the Association of Guild Health Insurance Funds in North Rhine-Westphalia , which was passed on January 24, 1995 and announced on February 10 . The statutes of the IKK Nordrhein were announced on May 31, 1995. The former guild health insurance funds became regional directorates.

The IKK Nordrhein was open to the states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Hamburg .

According to its own information, it looked after around 530,000 insured persons and 57,000 companies with 37 branches and 18 service points in cooperation with Signal Iduna (as of January 10, 2010).

The IKK Nordrhein and the Signal Iduna IKK merged on July 1, 2010 to form the United IKK : The Board of Directors of the IKK Nordrhein agreed on May 11, 2010. In the meantime, the United IKK has merged with the IKK classic .
