Sanjana is a modern, slightly freaky girl who just graduated from college. According to her parents, it is time for her to think about getting married. Fortunately, Sanjana's sister Roopa from America found the perfect man for Sanjana. It's Prem Kumar, the head of a large company in the United States . According to Roopa's description, he is said to be a very nice, reserved man and will soon join them in Sundernagar .
When Sanjana's father picks up Satyaprakash Prem from the airport, he is very confused. This prem is anything but reserved. Sanjana can't stand him and tries to annoy him all the time. But Prem is really in love with Sanjana and when they spend some time together, she shows her affection for him. Out of love, Prem even has Sanjana's name tattooed on his arm.
Everything seems fine until Sanjana's parents get an email from Roopa. The email stated that Prem Kumar was unable to come and will not be arriving for a few days. In the meantime he has sent his project manager Prem Kishen Mathur. For Sanjana's mother Susheela one thing is clear: Sanjana has to forget the “wrong” Prem in order to marry the “right” Prem.
When Prem Kumar shows up, Prem Kishen has to travel to Delhi . Without Sanjana's knowledge, she is supposed to be paired with Prem Kumar. The two also spend their free time together and Prem falls in love with them.
After a while, Sanjana also learns about the wedding plans with Prem Kumar. She is very desperate but does not dare to tell her Prem Kishen. However, at her birthday party, the whole truth emerges. From the family photo, Prem Kishen knows that Prem's secret love is his Sanjana. He leaves the house immediately.
At the engagement party, Sanjana waits longingly for her prem. When he finally appears, she runs over to him, tears off his sleeve and kneels down in front of him, crying. Prem Kumar sees the tattoo with Sanjana's name and realizes that Sanjana loves the other Prem. He breaks the engagement so as not to stand in the way of happiness.
