At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, Burow achieved his first World Cup podium with third place in Beijing . In the further course of the season he finished third in Lake Placid and second in Moscow. At the 2015 World Championships on Kreischberg , he finished fifth. He finished the season in 11th place in the overall World Cup and fourth in the Aerials World Cup. After two third places in the European Cup in Ruka at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, he finished in the top ten five times in the World Cup, including third place in Moscow and Minsk . At the end of the season he was fifth in the Aerials World Cup. Burow missed the 2016/17 season due to injury. In the 2017/18 season, a second place in Moscow was his best World Cup result. He won the bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
