Ilmendorf is a village in the north of the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , which has been part of the town of Geisenfeld in the Hallertau since 1978 .

geography

Ilmendorf is about eight kilometers north of the town center of Geisenfeld , right next to Bundesstraße 16 and has 655 inhabitants. The village takes its name from the river Ilm , which flows through the village.

economy

Ilmendorf is a rural village with many farms. An industrial area is located between Bundesstraße 16 and the Regensburg - Ingolstadt railway line.

history

The first written mention comes from the year 820.

On January 1, 1978, Ilmendorf and its district of Einberg were incorporated into the town of Geisenfeld as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
