Obereulenthal is a district of the town of Geisenfeld in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . The wilderness is about two and a half kilometers west of Geisenfeld and can be reached via the PAF 31 district road .

On July 1, 1971, Obereulenthal was incorporated into the previously independent community of Unterpindhart zu Geisenfeld.
