Moosmühle is a district of the town of Geisenfeld in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm . The wilderness is about four kilometers south of Geisenfeld and can be reached via State Road 2335 .

On January 1, 1978, Moosmühle was incorporated into the Geisenfeld community as part of the formerly independent community of Rottenegg .
