Ilse Dubois

Ilse Dubois (born February 10, 1922 in Berlin-Schöneberg ; † August 11, 2008 in Munich ) was a German costume designer .

She studied fashion graphics at the textile and fashion school of the Lette Association in Berlin. From 1948 Dubois worked as a costume designer for both the stage and the film.

She cooperated with numerous directors of German film from the 1950s and 1960s such as Kurt Hoffmann , Alfred Weidenmann and Bernhard Wicki . After that she worked mainly for television. In 2004, she and production designer Wolfgang Hundhammer received the film award from the City of Munich .
