Ina Trabesinger

Ina Trabesinger (born April 17, 1982 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian musical actress .

Life

Ina Trabesinger began her dance training in the Moser-Riff dance studio in Klagenfurt. In 2000 she started her studies at the Performing Arts Studios Vienna and in 2003 successfully passed the stage entrance examination. In order to gain her first musical experience, she worked in 2001 in the ensemble of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Bruck an der Leitha Summer Festival and in Verliebte & Verrückte in the Akademietheater Munich and later in the musical show Magic to do in the Raimund Theater in Vienna . This was followed by several appearances as a dancer and singer:

  • Musical Moments in the Vienna Konzerthaus
  • Steve Barton Memorial Gala at the Raimund Theater
  • as a dancer in the "Abba Revival" show in the television show "Vera"

Career

From 2003, Ina Trabesinger increasingly took on leading roles on the major musical stages in Germany.

Les Misérables

Ina Trabesinger performed the musical Les Misérables from 2003 to 2004 at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. She was part of the premiere cast in the ensemble and also took on the second cast of the role Cosette . This production was directed by James Powell.

From December 15, 2007 to June 28, 2008 Ina was again on stage for Les Misérables, this time in the Graz Opera as the first cast in the role of Éponine. She also took on this role in 2009 at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt , where the play was performed again under the direction of Josef Ernst Köpplinger .

Mamma Mia!

Then Ina Trabesinger had an engagement in Stuttgart. There was in 2004 in the Palladium Theater the premiere of the Abba musical Mamma Mia! (as the 2nd venue in Germany). Ina Trabesinger took on the leading role of Sophie in the premiere cast. She played the role of Sophie until the beginning of 2006. Paul Garrington directed this production.

Dirty Dancing

Ina Trabesinger went to Hamburg in 2006. Eleanor Bergstein's film had a musical premiere there. " Dirty Dancing - the Original Live on Stage " celebrated its European premiere on March 26, 2006 in the new Flora in Hamburg. Ina Trabesinger was part of the premiere cast. She also appears on stage as "Frances" baby "Houseman". Ina played the role of "Baby" for a year. On March 25, 2007 she was on stage for the last time as "Baby".

Disney's Tarzan

From January to mid-March 2010 Ina took on the role of "Jane" in the Phil Collins musical "Tarzan". From December 2011 to June 2013 she played this role as the first cast.

Sister Act

On December 2nd, 2010 Ina returned to Hamburg and took on the role of "Mary Robert" in Whoopi Goldberg's musical "Sister Act". As part of her involvement with Sister Act, Trabesinger had a guest appearance on April 18, 2011 in the soap opera Hand auf Herz .

As it became known in August 2015, Ina Trabesinger will take on the role of Meg Giry in the phantom of the opera sequel " Liebe dies nie " in Hamburg from October 2015 .
