Inaruwa is a city in eastern Terai in Nepal and the administrative seat of Sunsari District in Province No. 1 .

The city is on the national highway from Bhim Datta to Mechinagar , the Mahendra Rajmarg . The city has a tropical monsoon climate with hot summers and warm winters.
