The gmina wiejska Inowrocław is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Inowrocławski in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship . It has 11,808 inhabitants (June 30, 2019) and has an area of 171 km², of which 2% is forest and 85% is agricultural area. The administrative seat of the rural community is the city of Inowrocław ( German Inowrazlaw , from 1904 Hohensalza ).
Geographical location
The municipality is located about 40 kilometers southeast of the district capital Bydgoszcz ( Bromberg ) and about 200 kilometers west of the Polish capital Warsaw . The River Noteć ( networks ) runs through its territory, which includes the city of Inowrocław almost completely.
